Aceasta este concluzia celor de la IIHS care au testat noul BMW Seria 3 F30 in urma cu ceva vreme, iar rezultatele sunt putin imbucuratoare.

Conform specialistilor de la IIHS noul BMW Seria 3 nu este o masina care sa ofere o siguranta buna deoarece in urma unui test de factura noua ( vezi video atasat!), masina nu primeste decat un calificativ de MARGINAL ( SLAB).


Acesta inseamna ca masina este la foarte mica distanta de un calificativ POOR ( Foarte Prost) unde automobilul devine putin recomandat spre achizitionare.


Primele date oferite de IIHS prezinta celula de siguranta a masinii care a suferit o deformare considerabila ( 40 cm) in zona pedalierului.



Adica aproape de jumatate de metru celula de siguranta a fost deformata la interior!


Mai mult decat atat intreaga plasa de bord a fost miscata cu 16 cm in directia pasagerilor, detaliu care a dus si la o rupere a coloanei de directie respectiv la modificarea axului volanului.


Acest detaliu face ca intreg volanul se sa miste in partea dreapta moment cand airbag-ul se declanseaza insa fara a proteja capul soferului.


IIHS spune ca si sistemul de centuri de siguranta au actionat prea lent in oprirea capului soferului care a lovit lateral airbagul frontal si marginal airbagul lateral cortina care din pacate nu face fata fortelor exercitate de deccelerarea manechinului.

Ce zice IIHS:


 




Structure — The driver space was not maintained well. The footrest was pushed in toward the driver 40 cm, while the instrument panel intruded as much as 16 cm.


Restraints/dummy kinematics — The dummy’s head loaded the frontal airbag which stayed in front of the dummy until rebound. However, the steering column moved upward 16 cm, resulting in little airbag cushioning for the chest. Additionally, the seat belt allowed excessive forward excursion of the dummy’s head and torso.


The side curtain airbag deployed but does not have sufficient forward coverage to protect the head from contact with side structure and outside objects.


Injury measures — Measures from the dummy indicate that injuries to the left lower leg, ankle, and heel would be likely in a crash of this severity.
