This is the new Alpina B5 2010
Alpina has unveiled today the first image of the B5 Bi-Turbo that will be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed on July 1-4, 2010.
Based on the BMW 5-Series, the B5 Bi-Turbo combines luxurious performance, elegant styling, sporty handling, and exclusivity.
It is likely the B5 Bi-Turbo will share at least some underpinnings with the mighty Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo, including its 500-horsepower twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8. The latter model gallops from 0-60 in less than 4.7 seconds; given its lighter weight, the B5 Bi-Turbo could be even quicker.
The B5 Bi-Turbo sports the usual Alpina dress-up kit, with unique alloy rims and subtle aero add-ons.
